The Middle-East Architecture/Design Expo is considered one of the most important events of its kind - bringing together a range of entities in the field of urban and architectural building design, interior design, landscape architecture as well as other design-related services - in a region where the construction and urban development sectors have witnessed an unprecedented growth in the past years.

During this event, the Architects’ League of the Kuwait Society of Engineers organized the 1st City Forum, which discussed various planning issues that related to the development of Kuwait City. For the first time in Kuwait, the Aga Khan Award for Architecture also organized its regional seminar, simultaneously, and as a part, of the Middle-East Architecture / Design Expo - 2005 activities.

The primary objective of the concurrent exhibition is to provide an unique opportunity for professionals in the field of urban and architectural building design to exchange their views and experience, as well as discuss business opportunities. The organizations they represent also be able to demonstrate their experience and exhibit their distinguished works. Attendees of the Middle-East Architecture/Design Expo - 2005 also included both the general public and targeted groups that are engaged and interested in architecture and design-related services.

The Middle-East Architecture/Design Expo - 2005 - provided an important, unique opportunity for organizations and professionals to promote their services and expertise directly to a dedicated public. It will offer them the opportunity to asses, evaluate and select services within the industry. Further, a series of seminars and workshops also taken place during the Architecture and Design Expo activity, with eminent lecturers and speakers of varied perspectives among the local, regional and international architects.
